Model Railway 00 Gauge Hornby Layout Baseboard, Tracks & Trains & Accessories

MODEL RAILWAY 00 GAUGE HORNBY LAYOUT INCL BASEBOARD, TRACK, TRAINS & ACCESSORIES. This bundle includes 2 Hornby train sets, baseboard with removal legs for easy storage, additional track and accessories including tunnel portals, and flat pack (unopened) station and platform. Most of it is in very good condition, but as it has been well used but some TLC required on 2 or 3 pieces. The complete list of what is included.

The Blue Highlander Train Set. Calendonian 0-4-0 ST locomotive (missing its chimney but runs well), 3 wagons, 12 ton vent van, 7 plank wagon, lowmac with load and 4 wheel coach, oval track with siding, 3 buildings and trackside accessories, trackmat, train controller. LNER Class A1 4-6-2 Flying Scotsman - a couple of the bogeys are a bit loose on the engine but the power unit (in the tender) works well. Two LNER composite coaches and. Oval track with siding, train controller (which works ok).

Hornby trackmat (1600 x 1180mm) - as shown laid on the baseboard in the picture. The Track shown in the pictures follows the layout of the trackmat and is made up of track from the 2 sets above plus the extension packs listed below (except pack E).

The track is attached to the trackmat with pins, therefore making it easy to store the set upright when not being used. Extension Pack B x 2 - shown in the current layout pictures. Extension Pack D - shown in the current layout pictures. Extension Pack E - Not currently laid, but contents shown in photo of extension packs. Some of the track from combining the 2 sets is not currently laid and we also bought other bits: In summary: 4 points (one is rusty), 2 double straights, 8 straights, 3 1st radius double length curves and 6 double length 2nd radius curves.

Homemade hill which acts as a tunnel. Made from chicken wire, covered in paper, painted and fake bushes added. In need of some TLC. Hornby double stone tunnel portals - as shown in photo of extension packs.

These have been re-glued at their narrowest point (barely visible). 2 Metcalfe flatpack (unopened) construction kits - Country Station and platform.

Homemade baseboard with removable legs: 1220mm x 1835mm. I deliberately used a lightweight 9mm board (Sundeala I think from memory, but not certain) which sits over a wooden frame.

The 4 metal legs are 710mm high & 60mm in diameter and screw into metal baseplates on the underside of the board and are therefore easy to connect/disconnect for storage.
