Condition: Barring a couple of scratches and 2 very small tears to the lithographed paper (see photos 1 & 9) commensurate with age, the lithographed glossed paper is in good condition. There are 3 missing buffers and some oxidation to one of the bogies. The tinplate paintwork for the roof is in good condition, as is the wooden frame the coach is made from. All original, as found and hasn't been tinkered with. Some History about the company.
Rex Stedman, founded the Leeds Model Company (LMC) in 1912 but left it in 1928 to found a new company under the name of R. Stedman eventually left in 1931, when the name reverted to LMC.
In 1953, LMC became Ellemsee Accessories and the company survived until 1966.
